Default high compression !

I know this is not where it should be but, I think it would get looked at by more enthusiast cause high compression is involved here.
so my question is with high compression ls1 (11.1) will I need a stronger starter to turn the motor? is the stock starter good enough? any info would be appreciatted.

thanks

A high compression supercharged engine would likely need a more powerful starter or more voltage, but you should be fine with stock.

The starter thing began in the days of carburetors, roots blowers, and distributor ignitions. Initial spark advance was the killer of starters. It wasn't so much the mechanical compression ratio by itself that was the problem.

11.1 is almost stock! I've run 13.5 with the stock starter no problems. It wings over like a 3 cylinder toyota!
