Default TSP Torquer 2 on a 112 VS. Futral F13 on a 112

I've narrowed my choices down to these 2 camshafts. I know this thread is VERY similar to another one currently posted, however I believe that was the Torquer 1, and both cams were ground on a 114.

The first being the Texas Speed Torquer 2, 232/234 .595/.598 112 LSA. Stated powerband is 1800-6400 RPM

The other choice being Futral Motorsports F13 230/232 .595"/.585" 112LSA - Powerband is advertised as 2500-6800 RPM

Which of these cams would you go for in a basically daily driven (weather permitting, Spring/Summer/Fall only) 6 speed C5?

How do they compare in terms of power?

Driveability?

3.42 gears, yay or nay?

Better off with 3.90's?

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it!

Oh, and if it helps other power related mods are an LS6 intake, Vararam, Kooks 1 3/4 long tube headers, off road 3" X-pipe, and Z06 Ti exhaust

I'm gonna saying the FM13. I have the FM14 and couldn't be happier. I know it's a different cam but I've been told it isn't that much different then the fm13.

But I'd look into 4.10 gears if I were you.

i was debating between these two cams as well when i ordered mine. I went with the f13, but mainly because my friend has that in his car that I have driven a few times. I think it feels great, sounds awsome at idle, and i know what to expect with it. I havent ever actaully ridden or heard a car with the tsp torquier 2 in real life. Also it seems that more people have the f13 and havent read one complaint about it. I havent read any complaints about the TSP cam either, just seems that less people have it. My friend has 3:42 gears in his car with the f13 and they seem to do fine, he just told me to keep it around or above 2,000rpms when accelerating. It doesnt bother me at all driving it, but a higher gear wouldnt hurt.

I not sure about the TSP cam, but I think you would be fine with the F13. I have the F14 in my Z06 with a 3.42 gear and it does fine. I can cruise around with the AC on and lug it in 6th gear. I still drive like I did before and can drive as low as 1000 rpms in gear. The car still gets good gas mileage as long as I drive normal. The hardest thing is keeping my foot out the throttle cause it sounds so mean.

Your M12 transmission is geared like my MN6 would be if I had 3.73's. I AM doing gears, its just a matter of do I want to do them now or later.

F13 with stock 3.42 gears here. It is definitely drivable with these gears, but I do want 4.10s soon.

I really don't think you will be wrong with either cam.
