Default A4 w/ a cam....need converter?

just wondering, if i do a cam swap(tr224) in my 98 A4 z28, do i definetly need to have a stall converter?

No but drivabilty will suck.. I drove around on a 226/234 on a stock converter and it sucked bad. Honestly do a converter before you get a cam...

If you really want to maximize your ET at the track and take advantage of the cam, then yes you need one.
