Default To head or head and cam

Ok i know i have a bunch of threads with out there that be summed in to one but bare with me. My car is making good power for the set up that i have now. I have the urge to put a set of heads on the car and get about 450 with just the addition of heads. Is this possible to gain 40-50 hp with a head swap? If it is not possible, i have no problem with doin a complete head and cam package but i would like to end up with at least 465 rwhp. What would it take to accomplish this?

Not likely with that cam.

465 on a stock shortblock is kind of reaching. Youd probably need a damn big cam, some damn good stage 2 heads and a 90/90 to get there.

Although your numbers already look a big higher than the usual for your mods. Is that number uncorrected?

you might make the power you are looking for with the new ETP 215 11 deg heads AND a 90/90 swap. You can use the cam you already have as it is a proven cam and there are a few out there making 465, but they are running a 90/90.
