Default 02+ z06 cam install quetion, need ur help!

i just got a 02+z06 cam w/ the ls6 valve springs. is that all i need to do a swap? or do i need to upgrade to titanium retainers and upgrade the pushrods? need your help!!

you absolutely have to. some do & some dont. i would rather bend a push rod then do something worse.

99.9% of people upgrade pushrods no matter what cam they get, but the Z06 cam has a smaller base circle to offset the longer Z06 LS6 valves. So a slightly longer pushrod would align valvetrain geometry correctly. Although, a lot of people will say they use the stock 7.400" rods with no problems.
