Default 112 LSA with an Automatic?

Can anyone tell me if this setup would be tempremental at idle? I have been told that a 114 would be best...but I have also been told a 112 would be fine??

I am trying to decide on the best overall for my daily driver 97 C5...

Subsequently, I am going a different head\Cam route and have a whole bunch of brand new stock LS6 parts off a new crate engine...

LS6 Heads with lightweight valves and springs (no rockers)
LS6 Cam and Push Rods
LS2 Timing chain and sprokets

if anyone is interested!

I have a 224/228 .585 .585 112LSA on my A4 with my idle set @ 950 and have had no problems w/ it ideling. The only this we had to adjust was the TB blade which allowed more O2 to get into the engine @ idle. Getting the car to idle right is all in the tunning IMO.
