Will stock retainers work with comp 26918 valvesprings?

Yes they will. But they do not fit 100% like Comp retainers do and you'll notice some side play with them.

Although many use them, everything I have ever read states the retainer should be a very close fit. On the Dart heads I bought, the retainers fit within a few thousanths of an inch. If you don't need titanium, I personally think it is worth the few dollars for the Comp steel retainers that will fit better.

772 Comp Ti retainers are made for 26918's aren't they?
