Default Help No Oil Top End '99 T/a

Hi, I'm new to this. My problem is, that I'm not getting any oil to my top end. Pulled the valve covers & ran it, nothing. Showing 40-50 # on the dash gauge. It's a '99 T/A, with 62K showing. Car sat for 1 1/2 yrs. I've been hearing that sitting will make the oil settle. What can I do to prime the lifters, to see if that will help. Any help, would be appreciated. Thanks, martyp

pull out the push rods and clean them out then put them back in. if you still have no oil then you probably have clogged lifters.

Was the car hot when you did this? How long did you let the engine run?
