Default stock manifolds/cats and hot cam?

Ok. I have 00 ws6. Its my understanding that these have better flowing manifolds? Now my question is. I plan on stabbing a hot cam in and also a ls6 pump, ls6 intake, minor re-tune. I also have a shane s3 tb and a lid. I planned on doing headers too ory (and I will one day) But since everyone sees the need to charge 10 times more for parts than the old engine. I have to skimp on that for now. i imagine il still be doing good on power? Any ideas??

Get the bolt-ons before the bolt-ins.

first of all dont waste ur time with a hot cam, just my opinion (and alot of other peoples as well)

get a set of edelbrock LT's, dont even mess with an ORY just have duals built (when the time comes)
and when it comes time to do a cam, go bigger than the hotcam. you will regret it if you dont. I have the futral F14 (232/234 .595./.598 112 LSA) and it is PERFECTLY daily driveable, I know plenty of guys that DD with bigger, and make alot more power than a hotcam.

Im just looking for some idel, maybe a few horses. I cant get over how much everything is for the genIII engines. I dont mind cats at all, and plus Ill requires a sniff test. I heard that the 00 manifolds werent bad on flow and the ws already has freeflow exhaust? I like the quiteness
