Car is a 2000 z-28 with full bolt-ons and 3800 stall. Planning on a d1sc in the future but for now I would like to add a nice blower cam to compliment the future blower. I would just like some advice as to which cam or cam specs I should go with. The car just turned 40(40,000miles) and is NOT a daily driver so I can go a little crazier on the setup than I would for a dd. Im leaning toward a 224/230 with around 580 lift and a 114 lsa but I also like the specs on the sc2 232/236 around 580 lift and a 117 lsa. I like specs on the sc2 but i dont like the lsa(good for a blower but i want some lope), and i like the 224/230 because its a proven performer, but I dont want to go too small when I dont have to. What do you guys recommend and how well do these blower cams work n/a(powerwise and drivability wise), it will be a good 6 months before the blower and dont to turn my baby into a garage queen.
