Need input on Fast Intake
Can someone help me and figure out if I should go with the Fast Intake with 78mm or the 90mm. Whats the best bang for the buck. I have a stock intake that has been ported and polished so I really dont want to buy another TB. Is the Fast 90 that much better than the 78mm?
Thanks
Thanks

Here is the plan for the car, I am getting AZPS-02 cam, 1 7/8" LT with cats and have spintech exhaust system on the car now. My thoughts were to put the Fast 90 on but since I already had a stock TB ported and polished I figured i really didnt think it was necessary to spend 350 on a new TB. I will be changing my CAI to a better one that I have currently. I road race the car not drag it. I hope this helps out. I just want to know what I am missing by not going to the 90mm if I go to the 78mm. I really not need a lot more HP but wouldnt mind more.

I currently have the 90/90 set up. I like it. It would be hard for me to judge the gains from just the new TB and intake because I installed a new cam, heads, roller rockers, underdrive pully, and a few other odds and ends all at the same time. From what I have heard, if you already have the LS6 intake, the LSX intake and the 90mm TB are not worth the $$ for the gains you get. The reason I went with them at the time is because I plan on adding a Procharger D1SC next spring. What I gathered from all the research I did was you notice the biggest gains w/ the LSX and 90mm TB when you are using a power adder like NO2 or a supercharger. Otherwise you should just stick with the LS6 intake and the stock ported TB.

Some say that the MAP sensor fits poorly/loosely on the FAST intake. What is the best way to install the MAP to the FAST intake? Are there any other poor fitment issues with the FAST?

Besides that its a fairly straightfoward install....
