Default Best cam for my set up?

Mods are below, only other additions will be headers and about a 3200 Stall. I do not want a rough idle and still need to stay legal for sniffers. any recommendations?

Get your computer programmed to pass no matter what kind of cam you're running and slap an MS3 in it.

Im running True Duals with no cats outside of chicago IL and pass with flying colors even though my car smells like a late 60s refugee.

He needs to pass a sniffer test not OBDII scanning.

The biggest you will be able to go is 224/228 on a 114.

just have an exhaust shop fab up some pipes with flanges and have them put flanges on your cats and tune them out.. that way everythings hooked up and running properly and take the cats off afterwards.

Default Idle

Will the 224/224 keep my idle sounding close to stock? I want a total sleeper.

It will be close with 114 lobe but its not a sleeper cam maybe you need the 220/220 114 lobe cam that will do what you want.

You should pass the sniffer with the 224.
I passed with a 221/221 .558/.558 on a 114.
I have the flp headers i just swap out the offroad extensions and put the cats on.
But even with that small of a cam lope will be noticible.

A cheaTR cam could make as much HP or possibly even more than the 224/224. It would sound completely stock and have zero problems passing an inspection.

I'd go with a 2800 or 3200 Vigilante, OR a comparable sized Yank. The Yank will be a little more, but will be slightly more efficient on the top end.

Both are very good pieces, and you probably couldn't go wrong with either.
