Yes it does.I pulled the valve covers to see if I had any loose rockers but I didn't.My oil is clean I've got 35-40 psi of oiul pressure.I've also got a stethoscope type thing that I was listening to the the engine with. The only place I could hear it was on the drivers side valve cover I'm guessing right above the number 1 exhuast valve.Does anyone know which rod bearing fails first in the event of oil pump failure?

I will let you know what mine ends up being in a couple of days. Same thing oil pressure was fine. No metal in the oil. Springs and rockers were all good. I started the car and I heard a faint tapping which was different. When there was a slight load on the engine it began knocking like the video.

Good luck

SO should I just throw a set of pushrods in it or should I pull the intake and look for more carnage?

It wouldn't hurt to pull it apart, did it start knocking after you revved it silly or what?

Whoa. My car's doing almost the exact same thing. I haven't checked all my pushrods but will tomorrow. Along with the oil and taking a look under the intake manifold. Mine's the driver's side too.

You might need some guide plates for the push rods after killing the drilled guide. Not too sure though. Get hardened pushrods to replace the stockers so you can rev it higher next time without bending a rod.

If you have a rod knocking you will see all kinds of debris in the oil filter!
