Fired up another combo tonight...
Oh man oh man oh MAN! I got home late tonight after looking for a new truck. Decided to throw the intake/supporting hardware on to at least get Ken's car started. Got everythign buttoned up and really didn't feel like messing with the PCV system so I just vented it to the air. Hooked up the battery and did a few last checks. Hopped into the driver seat and fired up the laptop. One twist of the key and it came alive. Started up and had very very little valvetrain noise which is very surprising for a fresh motor. Oil pressure came up slowly and settled @ 47psi cold, warmed the motor up and dropped the oil. Oil pressure was pretty consistent(45-47psi) @ 900 rpms. Decided to bring the RPMs up alittle, whacked it a few times @ 4k and man this thing sounds like a monster. My ears are still ringing. The motor sounds soo healthy and I mean it sounds HEALTHY.
