Default L92 Heads/manifold For Sale Already

I just read that the L92 Escalade head is currently for sale. Gm is claiming 330cfm at .600 lift out of the box!!!!! Also, and I think this is the best part the only cost about $375 for a fully assembled casting. So for under $800 you get a head that outflows a ls6 head and would bolt right up to one of these 402 ls2 short blocks. Would these be worth porting and does anyone port them yet? The manifold is being sold for $475 and I read in GM high tech that it comes with 40# injectors, fuel rails, and a 90mm throttle body. Is this new news or do you guys know about this already. I have been freaking out all day about this insanely cheap set up. So for under $1500 you would have the whole top have of your motor set for a real nice build up. How does this set up compare to some of the existing after market heads on the market? How does this manifold compare to say a 90/90 set up? Whats the word guys?

Too bad they don't work well on a 3.900" bore.

Which displacement is the 3.900 bore and why doesn't it work well?

Stock(okay, .002 over ) The valves will hit the top of the liner, they are too big.

Default How about a 6.0L

Will they work? What size are the 6.0 heads?

Yes the iron 6.0L is a 4.00" bore motor, and they will work on it, but would be better on a 4.030" bore motor.

The 3.900" bore comes standard on the 5.7L Gen III motors (LS1, LS6).

All the more reason to go ahead and get the new L-92 block (4.030 bore), and throw in a 4" stroke crank.

I'm waiting for this combo to be sold as a long block by some of our board vendors. 414ci with some CNC'd L-92 heads will be a deadly combination that's cost competative with the current 402 combos.

Can only imagine what kind of power that combo could make...
