Default LS6 stock valve spring life...

What is the expected life of a 2001 LS6 stock valve spring with the stock cam? I've 55,000 miles on it so far in 5+ years. I know bigger cammed cars and updated springs have a shorter life, such as 15-25K miles before the springs are too far out of pressure specs, per other threads I searched on this topic. I know, I know, I have to pull the covers and test the springs to find out

BTW-I swap my springs (comp 941) in my Turbo Buick every couple of seasons, so I know how much fun that is.

TIA

No reason they shouldnt last the expected life of the vehicle. Assuming no major(8000rpm+) overrevs, 100k miles should be doable. Ive seen that much from the weak *** stock LS1 springs. Good luck...

Ive got yellow springs in my engine with the 218/222-.562/.566 XE lobe. Granted Im not expecting them to last 50,000+ miles, they are however a great stock spring for stock to very mild cams. If my cam had the smaller lobe profiles, I would expect more...like 70k. Fresh springs done like a routinely replaced item is a good policy to live by though.
