LS1 manifold to Fast 90/90
Ok I have heard the HP gains from LS1 to LS6 manifold, but what about LS1 to Fast 90/90? Also would it help with gas mileage? I had an 1/8 of a tank and after revving it for my carclub and taking someone on a SHORT ride my check gauges came on really quick! I have the car tuned for better gas mileage at cruising speeds too

yeah the more you mod it, the crappier the gas mileage. I have seen 10-15 rwhp gains from the 90/90. Just remember, all cars are different.....while your friend may pick up 25, you might only see 15.......LS1's are wierd man.

most cars with stock cubes don't get that big of a gain from an ls6 intake to a fast 90. i have seen people post only a few hp gains switching them over. i don't think it is worth the money unless you have bigger cubes.

^that is true too, seen it pick up A LOT on a 408ci. But, if your the type of person that wants to stay stock cubes and squeeze out all the power possible and have the $$ to spend, then go for it.

With that cam and stock heads that intake won't be able to be utilized nearly at all to its full potential and porting it would just cost extra money that won't be worth it. I've got a 408 with a 244/248 cam and ported heads flowing 320 on the intake side and I still have a LS6 intake and ported tb and made 475/450 on a mustang dyno. My application would get a good bang for the buck from the FAST upgrade and porting, probably 30 hp easy. An LS6 flows plenty and will prob net you 10-15. That's about $40/hp right there. Get a FAST combo (along with porting for another $300 we'll say) that will net you 20-25. That's about $75/hp. If you have a lot of money and it's burning a hole in your pocket, go for it. If you're looking for mods that are the best bang for the buck then go with the LS6.
