Stripped the back head bolt hole.
I stripped the bolt hole on the back of the block on the passenger side. It is the one that is in the middle of the really short bolt and the really long bolt. What can I do or is there anything that I can do. I already tried helicoiling it and it leaks. Or would it be cheaper to pick-up a 6 liter block. I have an LS6 block so I am pretty upset about this whole thing. Thank goodness that it isn't our daily driver.

Like stated above that is a blind hole, if you are leaking coolant you probaly cracked the block. If you have an air compressor try pressuring the hole and see if it is leaking air into the water jacket.

Ouch! Yeah if youre leaking there you have to have either cracked the block or (this is what I would want to hear) the threads are just stripped and isnt allowing the head to seal to the block and is leaking coolant into the bolt channel. Pull it off because it will do SERIOUS damage if water gets to the engine bearings.

strength wise it doesn't really matter if it's an LS6 block or an LS1 block though, the edge even goes to the LS1 block but yeah, like these guys said, it should be a blind hole.

this is why i always suggest removal of motor when doing a head swap... sorry to hear about your misfortune though.
