Default Lunati Stroker Kits.

These seem pretty pricey, but are they worth it? Anyone have experience with their 408 and 383 kits? I think I might eventually go this route, but I know there are cheaper options out there. Just checking to see how people feel about these kits. And on average, what type of numbers do they handle?

Thanks.

Lunati i feel is the strongest and best kit out there. Thats why its so expensive. If i had to rate stuff i would say Lunati, Callies and then Eagle. I knew a few select people running thier stuff and they are making 600+ to the wheels fine. I have their Pro Mod Billet Forged Connecting rods and i plan on running 14-16 psi out of a T-76. So to answer your question yes they have Very NICE AND HIGH QUALITY ****!!!!!

Yeah, you can get a forged shortblock with Eagle and diamond cheaper than a Lunati assembly practically. Lunati is top notch though.

Lunati without a doubt has the best quality stuff. i have the lunati pro billet crank in my 455 ci ls1 and the quality is top of the line. you could go eagle cause they are cheaper, but eagle is japanese and lunati is usa. you get what you pay for. IMO

Antz in another post you mentioned that they will put Pro-mod rods in plce of the Pro-billets, are those still good rods? I plan on running an MS3, FAST 90/90, and a direct port 250 shot. Maybe step up to some AFR/TFS heads as well later on. Would I be able to get away with the Pro-mods, or should I stick with the Pro-billets?

they are not as good as the pro-billets (1100hp) but they are a hell of alot higher quality than an eagle rod. the pro-mod rods are rated for 900hp so i'm sure they will do just fine for you.
