Are Mahle pistons stock?
Took apart a 99 ls1 and it had Mahle pistons in it. Just wondering if those were stock.

just took apart my 2002 motor and it has Mahles in it...and i put forged mahles back in it

my buddies 95 lt1 had Mahle pistons in it and to his knowledge the motor had never been rebuilt.

Mahle does produce alot of stock pistons for GM.

My 98 LS1 block had Mahle pistons in it & the 02 Pistons put into my 06 LS6 block are also Mahle stockers.

my mistake, i assumed mahle forged for some reason? so if those are stock then they should be able to hold there own pretty well huh?

in theory.. yes
in practice.. no, relativly weak ring-glands, "only" good to around 600 crank hp or so reliably
