Default Some urgent help please...

G'day there, I've done a search, but couldn't really find an a direct answer in all of the cam threads, so please bear with me.

I have a mate over here who wishes to install a Comp cam into his LS1 and we cannot seem to get a definitive answer re the PTV clearance.

The cam is 234/242 @112lsa .598/.609 XE-R lobes

Will the PTV clearance be an issue. It is running stock ported (not decked) heads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Macca

It is right hand thread, and is quite a bitch to get off sometimes. Big big breaker bar. I'd leave the accessory belts on and if its a manual, put the car in gear and set the parking brake. You want as much force opposing the crank as possible.
