adjustable timing Chain question
I have an adjustable timing chain for my LS6. No instruction. How do I install for straight up? There is the dot to li ne up with the cam gear and another dot offset on one of the slots where it slides onto the crank snout.

what kind of adj. chain is it? usually if its a type that you change position of the lower gear, the circle will be straight up. are there multiple keyways in teh lower gear?
I would make DAMN sure you know exactly before you do it though. try looking on the manufacture's website for instructions, or perhaps post a pic of the gears/chain on here for use to see if we recognize it.

Just got done with the heads/cam. Chain is a Rollmaster. We figured it with a little help- from See5. 9 slots to mount crank gear. Middle one was straight up and down.
Thanks for the reply..

straight up will be 0 to 0, 0 over 0. On the crank gear, you should one 0 over the center slot. Line that up with the 0 on teh cam gear and you have straight up. The 2nd 0 is a bit confusing!!
