Default 6.0 hybrid

I ve got a 6.0 shortblock out of a 02 2500hd i plan on puting it in my truck but anyway my ? what kind of compression do u think it would have with stock 5.7 02 ls1 heads? and which cam would be better, keep in mind this is a budget every day driver that im using to tow my car to the track so i would like to use stock parts? thinking about a zo6 cam but ive already got a stock 5.3, 02 5.7ls1 and 6.0 lq4 cam out of it but what ever. and does any body have the specs on these stock cams or the stock head specs like flow#?

your going to want to use a cam to help you out on the low end since your towing and all. your best bet is the stock cam from the 6.0.

I would like to know too.

Are the LS1 heads, 3.898" bore, going to work with 4.0" bore of the 6.0L shortblock? Which head gasket to use 5.7L or 6.0L?

yes, the LS1 heads will work with the 4" bore because the piston does not go higher then the deck.

i dont have the numbers right in front of me, but figure out what the stock combustion chamber size is on the stock heads to net the stock compression, then work from there with the cc of the heads you want to put on.
