Default LS1/LS6/LS2 compression, gasket, cc questions

Ok, I'm getting different values everytime I try to compare things.
So on a stock LS1 with an LS1 head(66.67cc) is suppose to be 10.1:1 compression with a stock gasket(0.053). Using the VE calculator that was sticky'd I get 10.04:1

Now for a stock LS6(243) head(64.4cc) is suppose to be 10.5:1 compression with a stock gasket(0.053). I get 10.31:1

What am I doing wrong?

To go further into this, the LS2, which has the LS6 heads(64.4cc), is stated to have 10.9:1 compression. What is different about that set up to give the .4 more compression?

Depends on deck height. I typically use -.007 just to be safe.

The LS2 is 364 ci vs 346 ci which boosts compression since there's more volume to compress.

Also, I've always used .052 for the stock gasket compressed.

If I do that I get 10.69:1 for the LS6 head and 10.39:1 for the LS1 head? Is this what you get for values?

Is there something wrong with the calculator?

pianoprodigy - I actually get the same values from your "quick and dirty" spreadsheet
