Default Gotta love it when Santa brings mods to the family! Bumpstick time =)

Whenever I come home to visit the parents it's a mini Corvette show!

Dad got his '04 Z16 this summer and we've had the '99 mn6 vert since '00 as my mother's car.

My grandfather isn't doing well (terminal lung cancer) so the family is going to Pensacola, FL for x-mas... thus, tonight we exchanged gifts.

First up I got my dad to open up this b/c I wanted to install it tonight w/ him. It's a C6 Z06 shifter assembly and a Vette Essentials C5-C6shifter short boot.

Took 30 min start to finish... shifts perfectly and Dad loves it I've installed and removed my hurst a few times and finally installed the exact same setup as below... C6Z06 w/ VE black boot... easy.

As the title said... Santa was good...

Dad's mods below: Ron Davis racing radiator w/ integrated oil cooler (for track events), partition (I think it's an Andy partition)... thanks to our neighbor Oyishdog (ryan) for the partition and cooler from his de-modded and traded-in '03 Z. Also below is an elite engineering brushed catch can, an EE tunnel plate w/ thermal barrier, and an EE off-set gas pedal for easier heel-toe downshifting. Lastlry, a set of A&A rocker rails to protect the rockers and make for easy wheel/tire changes at the track.

Santa hooked me up... G5-X2 114 :reddevil Nuff said :*****:

Merry Christmas :seeya

Man looks like Christmas was good for both of you! Merry Christmas!

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Been down that road before with my grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and your grandfather.

And to think my parents think spending money like this on cars is stupid!

Looks like it is going to be fun installing all of that!

I think the Santa that came by your house isn't the same one that comes by my place.

Merry Christmas, that is great that you get to share the vette fun with your folks.

Yeah.... it's very awesome. My father's always been into cars but sold his last Corvette in 1975... took hum 21 years to finally allow himself to buy another sports car. Took 2 years of going to VIR w/ me and he finally ran out of reasons not to buy one.

He picked his up the Friday before Father's Day weekend this year... Saturday we were at VIR
