Made my decision... 370 iron block
Ok well i have talked to Jon at speed inc. (always been very helpful), and ive made my decision, im gonna be goin with the iron block 370 and speed inc's twin turbo kit. Im just wondering if my meziere electric water pump would fit on the new block? Its a 6.0L so thats the LS2 block right? I know this is probably a noob question but i just wanted to make sure that i didnt waste $550 on something that wont fit the new block. Thanks,

The block in question is an iron block, we like to run them cause we have yet been given a problem with them structural wise.
The Mezeire water pump will work with this block and turbo system.
Have fun, when you hold WOT in a turbo boosted LS1 car it feels like you go into time warp, rollercoaster? acceloration like a motorcycle

Sorry to dig up my semi old thread, but just wondering, since i was on the topic of wondering about the EWP fitting on the new block, is everything on the LS1 block, heads, cam, intake, pullies, wiring, everything compatible with the LQ4 or LQ9 block? Pretty much, is it just a straight up plug and play engine swap, or do i need to get tons of other stuff to make it compatible to drop straight in? I just dont want it to be this difficult ordeal, otherwise ill just stick to the ls1 block. Thanks

The only issue is the alternator bracket. The iron block needs to be drilled for 3rd bolt and tapped. I run mine without this on 2 bolts with no issues, I just check the 2 bolt's tightness once in a while.
