Question Question about heads?! help!

OK im a noob at most of this stuff....but im learnin as i go. Buildin up a 408 stroker, but i need some help with the heads. I got a set of ported heads that flow like 270cc at 600 lift and 205cc at 600 on exaust. now i got springs good to 680 lift and titainium retainers and new valves by ferra, but i was wondering if i should get the heads ported out more, or if thats even possible. and i have a .595\.601 112 sep.cam, but should i swap it for something more radical, like say a 630ish lift or something? im wanting to stay N/A for a while anyway, so ANY advise from you ls1 know-it-all geniuses would be great!! thanks

get rid of those heads, and buy alot bigger camshaft. no offense, but head seems to flow poorly, and i'm about sure the cam isn't near big enough. i would be using atleast an 225+ int. runner head, fast set up, and something high 24?/25? duration with .640/.620 on a 112. hope that helps.

Default 408 w/L98 Heads / L76 Intake

Look into L98 heads (about $1000 with rockers, etc) and the complete L76 intake ($550). Contact Patrick G for a cam recommendation and your good to go. You will need to flycut the pistons to clear the massive 2.16" intake valves.

There is a sticky in the L92 section that gives the flow # for the heads.
