Default Nitrous Cam?

Now that my other ls1 is gone I want a new project.

I wanted to know a fairly large camshaft to use with milled trickflow heads. Compression will be anywhere from 11.0-11.5:1. I don't care if I have to flycut and I'll be running up to a 250 shot. The cam has to be drivable enough to be daily driven eventhough the car will not be.

I like the way a TSP 233/239 and the G5x3 idles, or somewhere close. I'm more than willing to give a little on the idle for numbers. I want to make mid to high 400 in an auto, and have a tame enough stall to daily drive/work well with the nitrous.

Thanks in advance for input,
James

Sound clips of cams I can deal with

TTP V4 (My personal favorite)
G5X3 114LSA (ORY, Magnaflow, Dart Heads, untuned)
TSP 233/239 (TD's, Next favorite)
Normally I don't like this cam, but the smoothest T-Rex I've ever heard
G5X2 (Very Tame)

I normally don't like posting other peoples cars so if you want me to take yours down, just ask...

Sorry to impose on the topic but who's t-rex cam'd 3rd gen is that and what is done to it/what exhaust? I agree on the sound.

Orangeappeal I believe runs a mid size nitrous cam and has been some pretty good times... 224/230 I believe? Just throwing it out there maybe he'll chime in.

Third Gen belongs to THIRD-GEN92, I don't know his set-up other than that...

what ever you pick, put it on a 114lsa, you will have better results.

I was aiming for 113LSA+ for the nitrous/idle.

that cam on a 114 will sound good. i just had crane cut me a 224/228 on a 114, and it sounds pretty good in a customers car. go to ls1sounds.com, in the cam section, i think there is a 224/228 on a 114 in there. if i had a sound clip, i would post it for you, but i don't. you might check vinci's website to.
