Your Thoughts
H/C/I setup that’s 100+rwhp over stock and in the past I’ve ran NGK TR6’s gapped at .045, then experimented with a NGK TR55 gapped @ .050. I noticed a tad more solid pull in the upper rpms with the TR55’s @ .050 versus the TR6s. Now I’m thinking of widening the gap on the TR55’s to .055 to expose it to a tad more of the A/F mixture. What are your thoughts? Would it be safe to run a .055 gap with a stock heat range plug and 100+rwhp (ported LS6 heads, stock head gaskets, non-milled, 10.5:1 compression) over stock?
