383 block prep questions

Besides Tq-plate honing, what other prep work needs to be done to a LS1/6 block for use with a 383 stroke kit???

Clearancing the bottom of the block for the rod bolts.

I had to work on the oil pan fit also. You space the windage tray up to clear the rod bolts and that makes for a close fit to some of the internal ribs on the pan. Nothing major just check things twice.
