Lost trying to figure dcr, help please

Default Lost trying to figure dcr, help please

I have a stock bottom end, i'm getting prc ls6 stage 2.5 with the ms4. I think i want them milled to 59cc and a .040 cometic gasket. I know i have to flycut. Can someone help figure the dcr and scr? thanks, Joe.

That combo wont work most likey, the piston will hit the valves. measure PTV before you mill the heads.

I need your cam specs at .006 to get those numbers for you.

MS4 specs are in the dcr calc that pianoprodigy did.

I got 8.3 DCR with 111LSA 111ICL, 59CC chambers, -.006 deck, .040 gasket, and 2cc valve reliefs

The intake lobe on that cam is LSK and the exhaust is XE-R, at least according to the lobe chart.

so i should be ok running 93 or 94 octane?

You can run 91 octane with an 8.3 dcr. I believe the limit for 91 is around 8.5 dcr... Just what I seem to remember patrick g saying. Now if you have 93 octane around u could always boost the dcr for more torque

Yeah it will be fine. Just be sure to get tuned.

yeah flycut a lot, I have a similar setup but the cam is much smaller and I barely have any room and i have -2cc's in the pistons.
