Default can an LS2 intake fit on a LS1

im just gonna state that i dont know about LS1's that much, but i am learning i was wondering if a LS2 intake can fit on an 01 LS1, also do Fast Throttle body's fit only on fast intakes, i know it would be pointless to fit a Fast 90mm TB on an LS1 intake, but i was actually gonna fit the LS2 intake using a fast 90mm is its possible for fitment, i have a 2001 LS1 Firebird FORMULA, this comes with an LS6 intake i believe i was gonna use that but i dont think you can fit a 90mm tb on that

As far as I know it would fit just fine but you would need to use a LS2 fuel rail with it. If you wanted to use a larger TB on a LS6 you could send yours into TPIS (they are a sponsor here) to be converted to be able to use their oval TB system.

The LS2 intake flows minimally better if not worse than an LS6 because it is a cheaper construction not designed with optimum flow in mind.

LS2 intakes are nice for FI but do not excel at N/A setups. The LS6 or fast is better for a N/A setup. However yes it will fit on an LS1 but you need fuel rails and something for the throttle cable.

If you want to get good improvement on a LS2 intake, you need to get it ported. The Aussies are getting some eally good results over the LS6 intake once it is ported. (especialy with head/cam)
