This has been beaten worse than Ike beating Tina Turner.
IT IS ALL UP TO HOW MUCH YOU CAN DEAL WITH
A nice daily driver to one person is the exact opposite to another person. I daily drove my cam in my sig for a while. Had no problems, but then again I don't car about how choppy the idle is or any other characteristic of a big cam. Besides, a good tune can make all the difference in the world.
Figure out where you want to go with the car, and how much power you want to make. Also think about where in the curve you want to make power (I assume you are interested in tq and hp under the curve).

mike#9 has a good point.
What I did was did alot reading. What cams people have, what cams they were upgrading to and why.
But it does all come down to you and how much you want to deal with on a daily driver.
I chose the TR230/224 cam, and have no regrets. I was orginally going to go with the 224/224 but after doing some researching, I found out alot of people were upgrading to something bigger.
