I really dont know if you are just looking for castings, or a set of CNC'd LS6 heads.

However, here is the link to the PRC Stage 1 CNC ported LS6 head for $949.00

I imagine you were just checking the casting price for a complete non-ported head from GmPartsDirect. Remember, GmPartsDirect normally has higher shipping costs than most.

In turn, for under a grand, you can get some CNC ported LS6 heads from TSP that flow good numbers.

Even better than GM part's price, you can get them NEW for around $385 per pair bare!

The ones from TSP are going to have some work done to them (porting/upgraded valvetrain) while the GM ones are going to be unported and I'm not sure they'll even have the valvetrain.
