Default LS2 Timing Chain in LS1 ok right??

While doing a cam install in my LS1(66,000 miles), several people sugested I should replace my original timing chain with an LS2 chain, and that the stock LS1 sprockets would be fine. I contacted TSP about the LS2 chain compatibilty, and whoever I spoke to said, "uh yea, it should work." I didn't feel very reassured by his answer so I'd like to know the truth...

Default I did it.

It works. I replaced the stock LS1 timing chain with the upgraded LS2 chain. No other mods are needed.

Supposed to be MUCH stronger and indeed works with stock sprockets and should require no mods to make it work.

I went with the SLP double roller myself, but im looking to get a lil crazy and like the extra safety it offers me.

While you can use the LS2 on stock LS1 sprockets, it is not a 100% perfect match.
There is some slack using stock gears and much less using LS2 unit.
You can get the whole gear set for ~$60

It will work just fine. Get the set like Predator suggested.
