Picked up some YellaTerra Rocker Arms today!
I ordered them through one of thier local distributors and picked them up this morning..
Have a look at these beauties.. no more worries concerning deflection and or rocker arm breakage..
I have three rocker arms that will no longer "center" just right due to wear and tear on them. These Yellas oughta straighten things out and get things in line again..
Also - these are 1.7s (stock ratio) but Yella will tell you that you do gain approx .20 to .25 thousandths lift with the 1.7 stock ratio... which would/could or should result in a few gains at the wheel (no more than 10 I would assume).
Here are some massive pics for you guys to drewl on..

.20 increase in lift!?!?! or .020 increase? If its .20 that would make my came over .750 lift!
They're 1.7:1 ratio rockers, just closer to 1.7:1 than stockers (so you'll get closer to advertised lift @ 1.7:1 with these than with stockers)

Man those look sweet...I think I might have to get me some! I got a erratic typewriter noise (kinda like popcorn) coming from my driver's side valvetrain, I think I might have a damaged one?? Who knows, maybe its just an excuse to buy those!

I ordered a set of the 1.7:1 Yella Terra rockers today for my 02 SS/A4, and will get installed next week. I got them from a local shop via a local distributor in the D/FW area.

I, too, would love to have a set of clear valve covers if they actually existed... I think they would be WAY cool on a car.
For the guys that have installed their own - have you noticed just how close they come to contacting the inside of the head, especially on cylinders 1 and 2 (at the front of each head)? I used a feeler gauge on both sets of rockers up front, and I had maybe 0.006" clearance between the YT and the head itself... that's darn close.
Did anyone else's install run close like that?
I've not fired mine up yet, as it's getting late and I was going to let the lifters bleed down real good. All of the other rockers have much more (relatively) clearance than the 2 up front. I've rotated the motor over a few times, and everything looks to clear out fine, but I'm still a bit apprehensive.
I plan on firing it up tomorrow afternoon... wish me luck.

I didn't measure how close the rocker arms were to the edge of the heads but they're not hitting so that's all that matters
From what I understand 98 heads had issues w/clearances, but I haven't heard of any issues on 99+ heads yet....

Ordered mine yesturday, thanks for the close up pics
Only doing a TR Cam, but after seeing that post about broken rockers and metal in the engine--$446 seemed like pretty cheap insurance
