Default Any New Lifters Out

I have been out of the loop for awhile. Are there any new lifters on the market that are better designed then the Comp R's. Please let me know what they are and why you think they are better.

Also, here is the set up Stroker motor, stage 3 heads, mild cam, Comp Pro Mag rockers, Fast 90/90.

Thanks in advance

^What he said! We have these "Caddy" race lifters that GM designed with reduced mass internals and better oiling....they have been shown to provide better valvetrain control at sustained higher RPM's than your standard LS replacement lifters. Search part number 88958689 on our website

Mat , how do these compare to the COMP Pro Magnums ?? Also what rockers are available ( I have been running Yella Terra adjustables , which are too heavy over the nose )

Cheers

Soon as I hear back from Marty I think I'm gonna order a set I wish I hadn't thrown my LS7 lifters in oil to soak, I can't return them now!

Default Preload

Matt

If you tell me that preload is not an issue with these I will order them right now. It took me 4 to 6 months (yes I am slow) and three different types of rockers to get the comp r's right.

Please let me know, preload setting using stock rockers vs pro mag.

To answer your question, these DO NOT require an adjustable rocker and all of the preload like your Comp R's do to set them up properly!

Thank you, I placed the order. I did not see valve cover gaskets on the site anywhere. I put in the comment section to include a set if you have them. These are center bolt style. Could you please make sure they are included if you have them. Thank you for all of your assistance.

Those are them Camaro67!

And we do have center bolt gaskets in stock, I'll make sure they're added!

not trying to but Matt I rec. My Caddy racing lifters and they were not packed right...they came out of the small box and were loosely scattered within the larger shipping box which had no packing!
Also I was not aware the Caddy lifters were heavier than the LS1 lifters, why is that?

chopper: have you contacted us about the lifters yet? We've unfortunately already had to start a couple claims with Fedex/UPS about these lifters. Definitely give me a call, PM, or e-mail so we can get you taken care of!

Chopper, definitely give Matt a call, or I was working with David. UPS totally butchered my box and only gave me 10 lifters, . But the guys at SDPC sent me out new ones via FedEx and they were packed nice and tight, and there wasn't a scratch on the box As soon as they get my old ones, I'll get a credit for the first set... (I had them charge me for 2nd set).

They'll take good care of you.
