Default 5.3l heads on a 408???

I have a set of TSP stage 2.5 5.3l heads and Im looking to start building a 408 has anyone tried these heads on one? just an idea?

no experience but i don't see why they wouldn't. i would probably open the chambers up to 4.00" to unshroud the valves and recheck your chambers to verify what cc they turned out to be .

i dont think they will flow enough to make great power for that size motor

If they flow 300+ at .600 lift and you open them up to 4.0 bore and have some dished pistons, they will work. Not optimum but will work fine.
I'm running 5.3L on my 370 and trapping 126.x mph on a 232/234 cam so yeah they do a good job.
