Default 4/7 swap camshaft

This totally blew my mind when I saw this. Isky Cams is claiming more power and better balanced firing order with their 4/7 swap cams. Anybody run one of these in a LSX application yet?

LS series motors already have the swapped firing order. The 4/7 swap you saw is referring to the older stuff and switching the firing order to what the LS already uses. Actually the LS also swaps 2 others, but I forget what the other 2 were. Some cam grinders have done that on their cams as well but ususally does not make as much difference as the 4/7 swap.

yeah, i had a cam ground like that for my sbc motor. it is (supposed) to make your motor have less harmonics so it will be easier on the crank and give you around 10 extra hp but who knows,it may just be a selling gimmick.

a half to 1% in hp increase with a 4/7 swap cam in sbc. ls1's already have this firing order from the factory.
