Default Bad lifters???

So i took my car to the track friday night, and my best time was 12.6@112 w/ a 1.9x 60'. My car put down 421 hp and 395 tq to the wheels. I know that 60' don't help things at all and i was running m/t 26x11.50's et streets (not radials) with a moser 12 bolt and 3.73's. I know my car should at least be running 12.0's if not 11.80's. My specs are ms4 cam, ls6 heads, stock lifters and prc dual springs and all supporting bolt ons. I didn't replace the lifters when i put this in because the car only had 13,000 miles on it so i figured they would be good. It does have a pretty loud tick but i was told it was normal. How could i tell without pulling the heads to see if the lifters are bad. Something has to be wrong. I know the et streets will eat up some mph but i should have still been trapping in the 117 range. I trapped 109 bone stock on goodyear f-1's. I guess i can say the car did not even feel that strong either. If anyone could help and if i left anything out just let me know. Thanks

well i dont know if this is a sure way to tell, but when i was diagnosing alot of ticking noises that started out of the blue, i removed a valve cover then pushed down on all the push rods and could feel a few of the lifters compressing a little. i read on here that they arent suppose to do that.
