The heads look great man. What's the new intake and exhaust runner cc? Did you do any work to the combustion chamber? Any flow #'s yet?

Yes, the intakes are 242ish but no flow #s. I didnt flow em and I didnt cc the exhausts, they are already shipped out so I probably will never know. They are for a street racer thats but I posted pix of the heads anyway atleast.

Those ports are too pretty to dirty up. If they flow as good as they look, it should be a great set of heads.

Bo, did you take any pictures of the valve job and bowl work? This is where the true flow gains are made any way. I'd love to see more of your work.

you should have flowed them BO, you would have been very surprised on what advertised flow was and what real world was. good work though man.

I just drop em off at my local machine shop thats owned by a buddy of mine and he throws em together and I pick em up and ship em off. Ive used him for over 10 years and only had 2 issues that were taken care of in one way or another which for the amount of work we're talkin thats a pretty good batting average. Very true about the valve job and the surrounding area, it can make or break an awesome port job. The 806 head that Tony flowed for me that had stock 2.00/1.55 valves with 218/82 cc runners flowed for me went(3.900 fixture):
.200 136/114
.300 198/144
.400 246/179
.500 261/208
.600 272/222
Another head was flowed by Gunnar that was a 243 casting with production valves went(3.900 fixture):
.200 147/120
.300 198/165
.400 244/194
.500 278/212
.600 300/222
was machined by him. There is better work out there(port work and machine work) but I keep on going for now. Most of the time on these mild Dart port jobs I do I just put the head back together with the seat work that Dart did which looks good to me.

Have you learned anything since the first couple of ports. Darts have a lot of room to work with.

Technique, other than that I see something that needs attention I take care of it. I learn something new just about everytime I pick up a carbide bid so I apply it to the next set I do....if thats what you were asking.
