Default Good Replacements for Plastic Pushrod guides ?

I was wondering if there is a good replacement for the plastic pushrod guides in our LS1's? Would there be any benefit to using metal ones? Maybe less flex, etc...? Just curious if there are any replacements out there and for how much...are they worth replacing?
TIA,
Joe

No such animal.

If it is the case you are seeing the lifter retainers and calling them pushrod guides, then no to each of your other questions as they might apply to the lifter retainers.

That is what I was referring to....Thanks for the reply. I just figured there was something better than the plastic that is there.

I think ARE used to make aluminum or SS lifter retainers used in their LS1 hydra rev kit. I saw a pic of it in last months GMHTP magazine.
