Good Replacements for Plastic Pushrod guides ? I was wondering if there is a good replacement for the plastic pushrod guides in our LS1's? Would there be any benefit to using metal ones? Maybe less flex, etc...? Just curious if there are any replacements out there and for how much...are they worth replacing?

If it is the case you are seeing the lifter retainers and calling them pushrod guides, then no to each of your other questions as they might apply to the lifter retainers.
