Default 224 vs X1 Cam

Hi ...
Trying to get feedback here on one these two different cams.

I have read heard many praises for the 224 cam (thunder Racing) but am still undecided on whether
or not the "newer" reverse split cams, like the X1 from MTI would be a better choice. Trying to get the Pros and cons (if any) about this particular cam:
would tuning be necessary?
What are typical gains in hp/tq and et/mph?
I know off hand that these LS1's have better exhaust ports than intake ports so theoritically it would benefit greater from a cam that favors the intake side.

Any feedback, dyno graphs or old thread links are greatly appreciated.
This car is a daily driver with occasional street racing/track duty.

I have a 2002 WS6 M6 with the following mods:
SLP airlid
Ported TB
Granatelli MAF
FLP long tubes would be going on the same time the decided cam will be going in as well.

Thanks!

Default Re: 224 vs X1 Cam

I have the TR224 in my car and it works really well.

The extra durration on the intake would be nice though. Even the LS6 intake has its limits and the extra durration would help pull in a little more.
