Cant decide between Comp 228/230 or G5X1
what should i go with, comps 228/230 .571/.573 112LSA (how many degrees advance is ground in?) or LG's G5X1 228/232 .588/.574 112+4LSA? I can get the comp cam much cheaper rather than paying $1400 for LG cam kit. Please give me youre reasoning why you chose which cam. What will work better with mods in sig and daily driver? looking for a good lope as well

i installed the cam stright up and then put a degree wheel on it and found out it was advanced 1.5 degrees. It was supposed to be 2* advance groung in so it was off a half degree which is not a big deal so i left it as is..It makes great torque and power on my motor.I am very happy with it as i have 3.42 gears and can make 350 rwtq at 3k rpm. Most larger cams cant do that.I will try to get a graph up.

I have a T-rex now but i had the G5X1 for about a year. That cam was a great performer for its aggressiveness. As far as results I went 12.2 @ 115 full weight in nittos stock tb stock gear stock pully. Made 387rwhp

$1400 for a cam kit? that seems a bit pricey.......just combine both cams into a custom grind, thats what i did and got mine from thunder racing for $735 that inclues cam, springs, seals, locks, titanium retianers, chromemoly pushrods
