Default Highest oil pressure with pinched o-ring?

I have just done a cam and oil pump swap on my 98. It's a stock block otherwise, 116k miles.

Pre-cam with the engine hot, I would see around 38psi at idle, 55ish at cruise, and 65-70psi WOT. I was using Mobil-1 0w40.

Post-cam, I see a little over 40psi cold, and for hot pressures, 35-38psi at idle, a little over 40psi cruise, and around 50psi WOT. The oil currently in the engine is Mobil-1 10w30.

I swapped pumps to a ported LS6 when I was inside the engine and used a new blue O-ring on the pickup tube. I am pretty sure it was seated correctly when everything went back together, but my pressures are significantly lower than they used to be (and I doubt oil viscosity would change that much between the two weights of oils).

After searching around, it seems like people who have pinched the O-ring have significantly lower pressure than I am getting. Should I be worried/is it probable that I did pinch the O-ring?

If you have pinched the o-ring you will not have safe oil pressure... it may come up at startup but it will bleed off.

Why not put the 0w40 in for a fair comparison?

W/ my LS4 oil pump and Amsoil 5w40 w/ a K&N oil filter I'm seeing 48-49 psi at idle when warmed up (210ish oil temps), 56-58 at hot cruise, and 77-79 at WOT as measured by the digital readout on my DIC.

I installed a self ported and shimmed (1-thin washer) LS6 pump. I use Castrol Syntech 0W-30. My gauge reads ~58 at warm idle, for comparison.
