Default Inner Diameter(ID) of crank snout

I'm wondering if anybody knows what the inner diameter of the smooth part of the crank snout right before the threads start is? I broke my crank bolt right where the threads start in the crank and am going to thread the smooth part of the crank and put either a bigger bolt in there or a stud. I need to know what size tap to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA guys,

Sean
