Ported vs unported Is there a major advantage to a ported LS6 over a regular LS6? I have an LS6 pump I am gunna be putting on the motor i'm building....but I don't know if I should port it or not.

From your post I would think your talkin about a ported LS6 oil pump. Correct??
If so then no, you don't really need to port it. If you bought it already ported & cleaned out with a warranty, then that would be fine. But the regular LS6 oil pump will work fine unported.
