I am looking for som suggestions for a camshaft. I have a 01 Camaro ss 6spd. I have a set of ls6 heads with 918 springs and ti retainers (I will be calling comp to get new 918s tomorrow) that i hae not installed yet. I will be installing them with a new camshaft. I am not going to port the heads. I have long tube heaters and ory, a k&n cai and a 85mm t/b. I called comp cams and they suggested the XER281HR.

I am intrigued by the trex cam. Will I have any clearence issues with this camshaft? Will this cam make more power than the Comp cam?
