Spark Plug questions
Well last night I replaced my spark plugs b/c I had noticed a cold start issue and slightly rough idle. I put in ACDelco Platniums, factory gap on them. Well I go to start pulling the plugs and it had NGK 55's in. Should I have just left them in?
It doesn't feel like its any less powerful, but the idle sure did clean up afterwards and it really started a lot better this morning.

You should be fine, NGK's life span is roughly 10-12k miles.
A funny story, I had factory NGK's in my Hyundai, well it has 109k on the clock and I had a low rpm stumble, I pull the plugs, facotry NGK with a 0.060" gap, factory is supposed to be 0.039-0.042 lol, it cleaned it right up.
I ended up going to Plats for that car. My DD.

I'd never knew that about NGK's. They weren't terrible, but seeing as how they had been in since this engine was rebuilt about 7K ago, and of course my cold start issues, I figured it be good to change them.
