Default Question: On LS6 from factory in f-body!!

Ok I have been told that some 02's from factory had the LS6 block put in them. I was also wondering is if they came factory with the LS6 did they also have the heads, cam, internals, ect...?

Yes, some had LS6 blocks. However, this means nothing, they are not special, or stronger, they just have slightly better bay to bay breathing. LS1 blocks are stronger if you are going to get one sleeved.

All LS1 F-Bodies in 01 and 02 have an LS6 intake.

No, they never came with LS6 heads, or an LS6 cam.

All internals such as rods, crank, and pistons.. are the same.

no, the rod bolt upgrade was seperate.. very few 01's, and some 02's had the LS6 block.. the rod bolts were an assembly line upgrade in mid 00 and on for all cars.
